Winter Meal Plans

Food

Winter Meal Plans… Let’s be honest, winter isn’t the most inspiring season of the year, especially once you get past Christmas. It’s cold outside. You want hot, comforting food, and in the New Year, you want healthy, nourishing food.

So I’ve tried to include it all in my Winter Meal Plans. You’ll find plenty of comfort food, with lots of vegetarian options, and fish and shellfish dishes each week. There’s lots of seasonal vegetables, and a healthy balance of protein and carbohydrate.

As with previous seasonal meal plans, you will find the weekend dishes might take a bit longer and the weekday dishes are much more low-effort. Several of the recipes are to serve 6, so you will end up with leftovers.

Winter Meal Plans - 3 months of meal plans, recipes and shopping lists - complete with printables. This is a must have for families. Meal planning made easy throughout the winter months.

You will need to download both the Winter Meal Plans and the Winter Shopping Lists. The recipes are all listed below.

Week 3

Leek and ham hock gratin with rosti topping

Winter lamb cobbler

Paneer curry

Smoked salmon kedgeree – This original recipe serves 8 so I’ve halved the ingredients in the shopping list

Week 4

Pomegranate-braised pork belly

Moules mariniere

Macaroni cheese

Honey-mustard chicken pot with parsnips

Duck with savoy cabbage

Cod and clementine curry – This sounds really strange but was an absolute hit on The Great British Bake Off.

You can find all these recipes, and many more, on my Winter Meal Planning Pinterest Board.

These meal plans are a bit of a labour of love for me. I’ve now done a whole year’s worth, so I’ll soon be refining them and putting them all together into some kind of eBook… Watch this space.

I’d love to know what kinds of meals you enjoy during the Winter months. Let me know in the comments!
